Alyonani

Alyonani Organization is a well-organized group of assessors based in Erbil (Hawler), Kurdistan Iraq, the homeland of prophets, is not an ILAC signatory. ILAC, operating in accordance with ISO/IEC 17011, is an international organization accrediting bodies involved in conformity assessment, including calibration laboratories (using ISO/IEC 17025), testing laboratories (using ISO/IEC 17025), medical testing laboratories (using ISO 15189), inspection bodies (using ISO/IEC 17020), proficiency testing providers (using ISO/IEC 17043), and reference material producers (using ISO 17034). ILAC was established in October 1977. Two organizations in Iraq are responsible for quality control.

Due to the political situation; both organizations can not be complied with ILAC requirements. COSQC is an ISO member under Iraqi ministry of planning.
ISO is an independent, non-governmental international organization with a membership of 167 national standards bodies.
Through its members, it brings together experts to share knowledge and develop voluntary, consensus-based, market relevant International Standards that support innovation and provide solutions to global challenges.
The gap between investors and international standard is wider than between investors and national standards bodies. The workforce suffered from political situation and got low level of training and education. Certification field and third-party services generally loosed too much assessors and auditors.
